Like elsewhere it is very quiet during the pandemic. Time for the animals and the plants to recover from the feverishness of human presence. Chitravel and Manimegalai maintain the space. Varun, an active director of BASE, visits the pace regularly, keeps in touch with the place and the workers.

The medical garden continues to grow and many people in the village come to Chitravel and collect herbs from the garden to make decoctions for their little health imbalances and to stay fit during the pandemic.
